American Curriculum at SVIS

At Silicon Valley International School (SVIS), we proudly offer a comprehensive American Curriculum designed to provide students with a truly global, balanced, and future-focused education.

Our curriculum follows internationally recognized academic standards, ensuring high-quality learning outcomes across all stages.

International Academic Standards

The American Curriculum at SVIS is aligned with the following global frameworks:

  • Common Core State Standards (CCSS)
for English Language Arts and Mathematics

  • Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS)
    for Science education

  • California State Standards
    for subjects taught in English

  • The Egyptian Ministry of Education Curriculum
for Arabic Language, Islamic Studies, and Social Studies

English is the primary language of instruction, building a strong linguistic foundation that prepares students for higher education and global opportunities.

To monitor progress and maintain academic excellence, SVIS administers regular American standardized assessments, including:

  • Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) Tests

These assessments allow us to track student development accurately and ensure that learners meet — and often exceed — international benchmarks of achievement.
